Anonymous said: Hi! Just ran across your blog through Pinterest. I see you haven't updated in 2 months. Are you just MIA or did you create a new blog? You are really motivating and I am trying to follow as many motivating women as I possibly can while on my new journey!

I’ve been MIA lately b/c my laptop crashed! I’ll be getting it fixed before the New Year. I’m gonna be posting new stuff soon!

Anonymous said: hi there - just stumbled upon your blog. did you really lose 13 pounds in a month doing ripped in 30?! that is just so crazy!

Yes, I did it with healthy eating & exercise!

strong-fit-fierce said: Hey, I want to do your 6 week challenge to get fit for the holidays but I don have Jillian Michaels Extreme Shred & Shred. Is it okay if I substitute those workouts for Insanity ?

Definitely. You can substitute Jillian Michaels’ workouts with your choices!

My ideal goal is 115 as well. I wanted to see what you thought about green tea? I hate hate hate water but have been drinking green tea religiously. Is that just as good as comsuming water? I have so many questions, I finally feel that my goal weight is possible.

We are gonna hafta get ourselves pass 126 pounds. I’ve also been searching for my motivation! {Notice the lack of posts.} Maybe we can motivate each other?

I really use to hate drinking water but have actually acquired a taste for it. I wish green tea was more my thing!

8 Reasons Why You Should Drink More Green Tea

1. It is an excellent source of antioxidants.

2. It burns fat and enables you to exercise longer.

3. It prolongs your life.

4. It lowers stress but boosts brain power.

5. It reduces high blood pressure.

6. It helps preserve & build bone.

7. It boosts your immunity against illnesses.

8. It rehydrates you better than water.

I should definitely start drinking green tea, too!

It took about 3 months & lots of determination, inspiration, & motivation!

Anonymous said: your blog is so great, and i love your positivity. the body positive messages are awesome, but a lot of the pictures you post show unrealistic bodies. i just wanted to draw your attention to images that aren't aligning with your message! (i can't do links but just type "bit. ly" (no space) before PStsT8 and xiYHt and QF8its)

Thank you so much!

I feel that all the pictures posted are very realistic because the gals are thin but not too skinny & also fit, which is exactly my Ultimate Goal.

I do value your opinion and promote a healthy & positive body image!

I'm 110lbs and keep getting I'm underweight by everyone and was wondering how many calories I should be having a day and what foods I should be avoiding or having. Also my legs are naturally thin and would like my calves to be a little more shapely any recommendations

Nearly everything you eat or drink has calories, which are a measurement of the energy that is released in your body when you metabolize food. You need a certain number of calories every day to maintain your current weight and activity level, as well as your body’s normal functions. If you eat more calories than your body uses, the excess will be stored mainly as fat; if you eat fewer, you will lose weight. To slim down at the healthy rate of a pound a week, trim 500 calories daily by eating less, exercising more, or both.

{Note: Do not eat fewer than 1,200 calories a day. Consult your doctor if you are having trouble losing or gaining weight.} To gain a pound a week, add 500 calories per day from nutritious choices.

How many calories you need to consume daily depend on age, weight, & activity level. Use this Caloric Needs Calculator from Self to determine how many calories you need:
